What does DNS propagation mean?
DNS propagation will apply when the following events occur
- Newly registered domain name
- Renewal of expired domain name
- Changes to DNS record such as website (A record), email (MX record) and etc

How long does the DNS takes to refresh?

The cache will be refresh accordingly to it's TTL (Time To Live) value. Once the TTL has expired, it will fetch the latest records from the DNS server

Can you speed up the DNS propagation as my services are affected now?

Sadly, the answer is nope. DNS server refresh records accordingly to the TTL thus you have to wait for the DNS to be fully propagated
